I am Jindong Sun, PhD (Shandong University of Science and Technology); in the past 4 years I’ve published 12 SCI papers (370+ citations) plus 10+ additional SCI works. My research focuses on AI for 3D CT/MRI brain tumor segmentation, lifecycle assessment, and fast MRI reconstruction, now expanding to low→high-field MRI and physics-informed diffusion. In collaboration with Prof. Lei Sun, I developed SCALPEL using 29-week RfxCas13d data to predict gRNA targeting, supported by rigorous biological experiments enabling efficient viral gRNAs and gene editing.

I am recruiting driven master’s students and collaborators (CS/EE/BME/Math/medical imaging) with strong Python/PyTorch, ML, and signal processing backgrounds.
